Also Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20, Darrell Cenido competed at the 2012 USA Taekwondo National Qualification Tournament in San Jose and won second place. He is now preparing for nationals.
On May 12, Lelani Cano, 8, represented Wais Martial Arts at the annual AAU California State Championships in San Francisco. She competed in forms and board breaking and received medals for her achievements.
