A celebration of life is planned July 9 for Larry R. Springer, 62, of Tracy, who died June 12.

Mr. Springer was born Sept. 20, 1951, in Indiana, where he studied at Perdue University and played football. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Mollie Springer of Tracy; four sons, Richard Camperud of Watsonville, Joe Perry of Stockton, Adam Springer of Tempe, Ariz., and David Springer of Indiana; a daughter, Lisa Thibeaux of Tracy; a brother, Gary Springer of Florida; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was a son, Robert Perry.

The celebration of Mr. Springer’s life will begin at 11 a.m. July 9 at Grace Christian Center, 5555 W. Grant Line Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be delivered to Wells Fargo Bank for Mollie Springer, Account No. 7348956090.
