Services are pending for John Keith Lienhart, 79, of Mason, Nev., a former Tracy resident, who died Feb. 6 in Mason.

Born Oct. 25, 1934, in Blythe, Mr. Lienhart served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957 as a technical sergeant and helicopter mechanic. He was stationed in Korea and at Hamilton Air Force Base. He later earned an industrial arts degree at Chico State College and worked as an IBM customer engineer from 1962 to 1993. He drove three years for Dick Simon Trucking and volunteered 15 years at the Lyon County Animal Shelter.

Mr. Lienhart lived in Tracy from 1974 to 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Lienhart of Mason; three children, Jeanne (Lienhart) Locke of Modesto, Brion Lienhart of Pacheco and Glen Lienhart of Vallejo; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two siblings, Joy Gould of Fairfield and Wayne Lienhart of Anchorage, Alaska.
