The Tracy Police and Tracy Fire departments have joined forces with the Tracy Breakfast Lions Club to sponsor this year’s Holiday Sock Drive in Tracy.

Between now and Dec. 13, Holiday Sock Drive collection barrels will be kept at the Tracy Police Department, Fire Administration Building and all fire stations. In addition, socks can be handed to police officers.

Last year’s inaugural drive collected 2,100 pairs of socks. The new adult and children’s socks are distributed to families in need during the holiday season by Tracy Interfaith Ministries.
