Hip-hop group promotes Easter donation drive

Local musicians have teamed up with Tracy Interfaith Ministries to bring cheer to Tracy families this spring.

Hippie Hop Records is promoting a drive for Easter baskets and supplies, food, candy, small toys and plastic eggs. Donations can be taken to Interfaith, 311 W. Grant Line Road, between March 30 and April 5. The group will also collect donations from individuals or businesses on Friday, March 24, by appointment.

Organizers also seek volunteers to help with the effort.

The partnership seeks to provide for at least 1,000 children throughout the Tracy area.
