Former employees of the H.J. Heinz Co. have been invited to a pre-Thanksgiving luncheon Monday, Nov. 25.

The luncheon will begin at 2 p.m. at Golden Corral Buffet and Grill, 2850 W. Grant Line Road.

The luncheon is open to former Heinz employees of all departments “as a get-together to catch up with friends,” according to luncheon planners.

The Heinz factory was a major Tracy industry from 1946 to 1998, when it was closed. It was the largest processor of fresh tomatoes in the Heinz worldwide network.
