The teams were tied 18-18 at the half and played a back-and-forth second half.
Tracy coach Derek Solano said that his team had a dismal shooting percentage, hitting only 15-of-60 from the field, but got some key 3-pointers from seniors Toni Juarez and Karsi Fyfe.
Tracy (9-7) was also strong on the boards with 10 rebounds for senior Shelby Perry. The efforts reduced West's (9-8) second chances, and Solano said that Perry also hit the go-ahead shot at the end.
Fyfe led the Tracy offense with seven points. Juarez and Perry scored six each, and senior Emily Anchartechahar also contributed six points. Totals for the Wolf Pack were not available.
It was the last pre-league game for both teams.
Tracy begins San Joaquin Athletic Association play on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at home against Franklin High of Stockton, and West will head to Stockton to face McNair on Tuesday on the Tri-City Athletic League opener.
