Gala tonight to honor theatrical achievement

The Tracy Performing Arts Foundation will host its Stella Awards Gala tonight at 7 p.m. in the Grand Theatre Center, 715 Central Ave.

The gala is designed in the style of the Academy Awards. It honors local performing artists of all ages for their achievements over the past theatrical year. Nominations are based on submissions from Tracy residents.

There will be performances by varies local groups and competition winners mixed in with awards and speeches.

Nominations include: Outstanding youth/adult theatrical production; youth/adult rising star; and outstanding youth/adult actor and actress.

The event is free, but the foundation is asking anyone who comes to provide a donation.

This is the event’s second year at the Grand Theatre, and Jeff Haskett, technical theatre supervisor said last year close to 300 people attended the gala.

1990s White Chevy Lifted pickup with exhaust. Possible lumber rack on truck.

Second possible vehicle is a red Dodge Dakota with possible camper shell.

The latest items they stole are 55 Toshiba TV, set of Titleist golf clubs .
