Takoda, one of four kittens born April 15, likes to explore or play with the other kittens and cats. He is also friendly with people and likes to snuggle. Takoda is the smallest of the litter, and rescue volunteers hope to find him a home accompanied by one of his littermates — brothers Kibou and Tobias and sister Poppy — or their mother, Sienna. East of Eden is a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Its volunteers are at Petco, 2888 Grant Line Road, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Profiles of all the kittens and their mother can be viewed on the “Adoptions” page at www.eoerescue.org. For information: 815-5186.
