• Salvador Abundis, 84, a Tracy resident for 62 years, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at home following a long illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Visitation will be observed from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 4, followed by a 6 p.m. rosary, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.

• Evelyn Stein, 92, namesake of Stein High School and a Tracy resident since 1945, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, at her home. Services are pending. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.

• Kay Schunk, 94, a medical records clerk at Tracy Community Hospital in the 1970s and 1980s, died Saturday, Feb. 23, at her Tracy home. As she had wished, all services will be private, including burial in Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks. Arrangements will be handled by Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. • Haruye “Holly” Fukano, 84, a former librarian and teacher’s aide at Jefferson and Monticello schools, died Feb. 22 in Tracy. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers or plants, the family prefers contributions to Stockton Buddhist Church, 2820 Shimizu Drive, Stockton, CA 95203; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

• Roberta Robertson Anderson, 103, a former longtime Tracy resident, died Feb. 22 at O’Connor Woods Assisted Living in Stockton. At her request, no services are planned. Inurnment will be private in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

• Joseph Amos “Jo Jo” Peters, 60, of Stockton, died Feb. 17 in Stockton. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at the Free Methodist Church, 218 W.
