Elva E. Harris, a resident of Tracy for 89 years, died Saturday at Emeritus at Heritage Place. She was 95. All services will be private at her request. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Ella Nell Pombo, 81, a retired registered nurse and Tracy resident of 63 years, died Thursday, Feb. 13. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. A private gathering with her children and grandchildren will follow the service. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be viewed at www.frymemorialchapel.com. Lawrence Walter “Larry” Abrie, 91, of Tracy, died Thursday at Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Arrangements will be handled by Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.

Marilyn Jean McGinnis Church, 84, of Berkeley, who taught in Tracy schools from 1950 to the late 1980s, died Feb. 11 after a brief illness. Services on March 1 will begin at 11 a.m. at Epworth Methodist Church, 1953 Hopkins St., in Berkeley. Burial will be March 6 at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Contributions in Mrs. Church’s name may be sent to The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Scholarship Fund, PO. Henry J. “Jim” Davis, 93, of Tracy, died Feb. 10. A celebration of his life will begin at 11 a.m. Feb. 28 at Elks Lodge 218, 8900 Thornton Road, in Stockton. Contributions in Mr. Davis’ name may be sent to a kidney or cancer foundation. Flowers may be sent to the lodge for the Feb. 28 event, 8900 Thornton Road, Stockton, CA 95209-1820.

Paula Stanton, 61, a 24-year Tracy resident, died from cancer Feb. 9. No services are planned. Arrangements will be handled by Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave., in San Jose.

Barbara Marie Myers, 78, a homemaker, died Feb. 8 at Remolona Family Guest Home in Manteca. A celebration of her life will begin at 1 p.m. March 1 at Arbuckle United Methodist Church, 600 Pendleton St., in Arbuckle. Burial will be private in Arbuckle Cemetery. The family prefers contributions in Mrs. Myers’ name to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Ervinette Aldridge, 77, of Tracy, a retired registered nurse at the Tracy hospital, died of renal failure Feb. 6 at Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be private. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.
