The one-night event will be held in the gymnasium at Kimball High School, 3200 Jaguar Run, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Laurie Tomlin, head counselor at West High, said Tuesday, Oct. 9, that more than 40 colleges and universities will be represented from the California State University and University of California systems and private and out-of-state institutions.
Two breakout sessions covering the CSU application process and how to complete the personal statement for application to the UC system will be held during the event.
An English version of the CSU presentation begins at 6 p.m., and a Spanish version will follow at 7.
A representative from UC Merced will conduct the personal statement presentation from 6 to 7 p.m.
“These sessions are going to be really important for any student who wants to go to schools in these systems,” Tomlin said.
