Services were this week for Cheryl Lee (Peterson) Charvo, 63, a former Tracy resident, who died of pancreatic cancer Jan. 21 at her home in Manteca.

Ms. Charvo was born Dec. 3, 1949, in Oakland and had lived in the valley and foothills, including occasional stays in Tracy.

Survivors include her companion, Pat Cosgrove of Pioneer; two daughters, Christi Hardcastle, and her husband, Troy, of Manteca and Cindy Charvo of Alameda County; her parents, Donavon and Virginia Peterson of Tracy; a sister, Charlene Peterson-Redmond of Eugene, Ore.; two brothers, Brian Peterson of Tracy and David Peterson of Portland, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

A vigil and service took place Monday, Jan. 28, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by a celebration of life at the Hardcastle home in Manteca.
