Services will be Saturday, Nov. 24, in Ceres for Charles Lee Finister, a Tracy High School graduate, who died Nov. 11 at age 56.

Mr. Finister was born April 21, 1956, in Hemet and was involved in FFA and rodeos during high school. He graduated in 1974.

He served eight years in the U.S. Army, including service in Germany, and also worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Finister later opened a Farmers Insurance Agency in San Joaquin County.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Cindy Finister of Baraboo, Wisc.; mother and stepfather, Shirley and Elbert Gryder of Delhi; a daughter, Nichole Webber of Baraboo; two sisters, Vickie Ann Wardell of San Jose and Jodie Ellen Finister of Walnut Creek; three grandchildren; and many other relatives.

His father, Charles Finister, preceded him in death.
