A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 2, for Aurelio Nunez, 82, of Tracy, who died Monday, June 24, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.

Mr. Nunez, a native of Mexico, was born Sept. 25, 1930. He had lived in Tracy since 1975 and worked on farms and ranches around the city.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Aurora Nunez of Tracy; a sister, Elena Moreno of Tracy; a brother, Antonio Nunez of San Pablo; and many nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Armida Nunez, preceded him in death.

The Mass will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 W. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 1, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
