Samantha Fisher, a member of Tracy High’s Class of 2008 and a senior outfielder with the Hawks softball team at Holy Names University of Oakland, was named to the 2012 All-California Pacific Conference Team.

Fisher, a member of this year’s California Pacific Conference second team, was a member of the inaugural Hawks softball team in 2009. She has played third base and left field over the past four years.

For the 2012 season, she played in 39 of the Hawks’ 44 games and was one of the team’s leading batters with a .381 batting average and a .458 slugging percentage. The team went 23-21 for the year and 7-8 in the CPC.

Fisher is one of four Hawks named to the all-conference list, including two first-team players, catcher Rachael Martinez of Antioch and outfielder Alexis Moctezuma of Montebello, and second-team pitcher Stephani Fairclough of Pleasant Hill.
