Tracy police responded to 262 calls for service Friday. The following is a sampling of those reports:
1:27 a.m.: A man on the 1700 block of
2:04 a.m.: Police arrested a man for public drunkenness at the
McDonald’s on
2:09 a.m.: Police arrested a man at Denny’s,
2:13 a.m.: A man on the 1500 block of
7:49 a.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of
8:10 a.m.: An employee at JJ MacIntyre Co.,
9:17 a.m.: Someone on the 500 block of 9:51 a.m.: A woman on reported hearing children screaming often from a house nearby. On one occasion she heard a child say, “Don’t hurt me, mommy,” from within the house.
9:54 a.m.: A man on the 200 block of
10:09 a.m.: Police arrested three people on the 100 block of
11:14 a.m.: A man on the 2900 block of
11:23 a.m.: Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant
after someone reported him yelling at traffic at
11:29 a.m.: A man at T-Mobile, 1:28 p.m.: Police arrested a man for beating up his wife.
2:25 p.m.: Someone reported two small dogs chasing people up
and down the street on the 1300 block of
3:04 p.m.: Someone from an office at
3:05 p.m. Police arrested two men for drug possession on the
2300 block of 3:15 p.m.: Police advised three women holding signs with derogatory writing on them to stay out of the street at Grant Line and Naglee roads.
3:17 p.m.: A woman at
3:37 p.m.: A woman on the 1500 block of
4:07 p.m.: A security guard at GNC,
6:05 p.m.: A 17-year-old girl reported being hit in the head
by an unknown female at
6:43 p.m.: Police arrested two women for shoplifting at Rite
Aid, at 7:52 p.m.: Someone at 10th and F streets reported 15 “gang-type” people, all wearing read and black clothing and loitering.
7:55 p.m.: A caller reported four or five teenagers trying
to throw a pair of shoes on a telephone wire outside of the Quik Stop on the 1100
block of
8:28 p.m.: Someone at
9:04 p.m.: Someone reported seeing six “gangbanger”-type men
looking like they were “up to no good,” at
9:23 p.m.: A security guard detained someone for trespassing
in a pool on the 2900 block of
9:57 p.m.: Police arrested a man in the parking lot of
Long’s Drug, 9:59 p.m.: A man on Lowell and Parker avenues reported someone in a Ford Ranger throwing a beer bottle at a parked car and driving off.
10:27 p.m.: An employee at Chevron, 11:16 p.m.: A woman at Corral Hollow and Larch roads reported a car running into a fence.
11:46 p.m.: Someone on the 1500 block of

3:37 p.m.: A woman on the 1500 block of Promenade Circle reported two teenagers urinating in her driveway.

"6:43 p.m.: Police arrested two women for shoplifting at Rite Aid, at 1970 Grant Line Road. After getting into a fight with a security guard outside of the store, the women drove off and then were pulled over on Grant Line Road. The driver refused to get out of the car and was forced out. She also had a warrant out of Placer County."
It's much easier getting out of the car on your own as opposed to be forced out. Now, instead of going to jail nice and calm you're going to go to jail out of breath. written by fortheunderdog , August 24, 2008
