Tracy police responded to 262 calls for service Friday. The following is a sampling of those reports:

1:27 a.m.: A man on the 1700 block of Bayberry Lane reported seeing a man he thought to be a terrorist with a bomb on him walking around his house. The man’s brother got on the phone and said he was crazy, and then his sister told police that he had a history of abusing speed.

2:04 a.m.: Police arrested a man for public drunkenness at the McDonald’s on 3430 N. Tracy Blvd.

2:09 a.m.: Police arrested a man at Denny’s, 3718 N. Tracy Blvd., on a violation of a restraining order warrant.

2:13 a.m.: A man on the 1500 block of Dronero Way reported his house burglarized.

7:49 a.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of Holly Drive reported her car window broken.

8:10 a.m.: An employee at JJ MacIntyre Co., 140 E. Grant Line Road, reported  broken front window on the business.

9:17 a.m.: Someone on the 500 block of Palm Circle reported a man trespassing in a neighbor’s backyard.

9:51 a.m.: A woman on reported hearing children screaming often from a house nearby. On one occasion she heard a child say, “Don’t hurt me, mommy,” from within the house.

9:54 a.m.: A man on the 200 block of West Grant Line Road reported his car vandalized and said he knew of a witness who saw it happen.

10:09 a.m.: Police arrested three people on the 100 block of West Highland for gun charges and confiscated 11 separate fire arms.

11:14 a.m.: A man on the 2900 block of Careen Court reported his car vandalized.

11:23 a.m.: Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant after someone reported him yelling at traffic at Independence Drive and Tracy Boulevard.

11:29 a.m.: A man at T-Mobile, 3200 Naglee Road, reported his cell phone stolen.

1:28 p.m.: Police arrested a man for beating up his wife.

2:25 p.m.: Someone reported two small dogs chasing people up and down the street on the 1300 block of Whittingham Drive.

3:04 p.m.: Someone from an office at 2313 N. Corral Hollow Road, reported a suicidal man possibly on his way to the office.

3:05 p.m. Police arrested two men for drug possession on the 2300 block of Holly Drive.

3:15 p.m.: Police advised three women holding signs with derogatory writing on them to stay out of the street at Grant Line and Naglee roads.

3:17 p.m.: A woman at West High School, 11775 W. Lowell Ave., reported her 16-year-old daughter being hit in the head by another girl.

3:37 p.m.: A woman on the 1500 block of Promenade Circle reported two teenagers urinating in her driveway.

4:07 p.m.: A security guard at GNC, 3200 Naglee Road, reported having a shoplifter in custody.

6:05 p.m.: A 17-year-old girl reported being hit in the head by an unknown female at Fourth Street and Central Avenue.

6:43 p.m.: Police arrested two women for shoplifting at Rite Aid, at 1970 Grant Line Road. After getting into a fight with a security guard outside of the store, the women drove off and then were pulled over on Grant Line Road. The driver refused to get out of the car and was forced out. She also had a warrant out of Placer County.

7:52 p.m.: Someone at 10th and F streets reported 15 “gang-type” people, all wearing read and black clothing and loitering.

7:55 p.m.: A caller reported four or five teenagers trying to throw a pair of shoes on a telephone wire outside of the Quik Stop on the 1100 block of Lincoln Boulevard.

8:28 p.m.: Someone at Sycamore Parkway and Valpico Road reported a car hitting a teenage girl while she was crossing the street at the intersection.

9:04 p.m.: Someone reported seeing six “gangbanger”-type men looking like they were “up to no good,” at Central Avenue and Schulte Road. The caller said the group had posted two lookouts while another four had a woman pinned up against a wall.

9:23 p.m.: A security guard detained someone for trespassing in a pool on the 2900 block of Redbridge Road.

9:57 p.m.: Police arrested a man in the parking lot of Long’s Drug, 3320 N. Tracy Blvd., on a DUI warrant after he was pulled over.

9:59 p.m.: A man on Lowell and Parker avenues reported someone in a Ford Ranger throwing a beer bottle at a parked car and driving off.

10:27 p.m.: An employee at Chevron, 2615 W. Grant Line Road, reported a woman stealing beer from one of the coolers.

11:16 p.m.: A woman at Corral Hollow and Larch roads reported a car running into a fence.

11:46 p.m.: Someone on the 1500 block of Locust Drive reported the driver’s side window of a car broken out and after a possible burglary.

After the car stopped running, the woman found the cars Nike shoes in her flower bed.

Like the cowards they are, it takes 4 to handle the woman use the other two as lookouts.

I used to do that on the last day of school but it didn't take 4 or 5 to accomplish this. They must all be bad throwers.

Looks like 6 separated from the group and accosted a woman on Central Av and Shulte Bl. They really ought to do something about the color of their clothes though. Red is so passe'.

It's much easier getting out of the car on your own as opposed to be forced out. Now, instead of going to jail nice and calm you're going to go to jail out of breath.

Arriving police thanked mrs johnson for caling and then explained to her that the raiders and chiefs game had just ended and the team's fans that gathered to watch the game would be going home soon.

Damn language arts gang! Parents, talk to your kids about gangs that require you to read. Most gangs prepare you for real life, but this one is all about literacy. Pretty scary if you ask me!
