Someone on Thursday ripped off every computer and printer from a design and print shop on West Larch Road.
A man from DNA Design & Printing, 200 W. Larch Road,
reported at 9:45 a.m. Thursday the theft of all of the business’ laptop
computers and printers
Someone threw a large rock through the front glass door to
get inside. The caller was unsure what else might have been stolen.
Tracy police responded to 216 calls for service on Thursday.
The following is a sampling of those reports:
1:46 a.m.: Someone reported three teenagers were smoking
drugs at Mason Court and Taylor Lane.
1:46 a.m.: Someone at Chevron, 3400 N. MacArthur Drive,
reported a man wearing an orange jumpsuit and a flannel jacket hiding in some
bushes nearby. The caller said he “looked like he escaped from a jail or
detention facility.”
1:58 a.m.: The night auditor at the Motel 6, 3810 N. Tracy Blvd.,
reported a guest continually calling and saying that he was on hallucinogenic
mushrooms, locked in the bathroom and that there were things coming out of the
walls. A guest two doors down from the man said that he had broken through the
wall. Police managed to phone the man, who said he was high on cocaine and
mushrooms. A woman from the hotel said she thought the man was prank calling
the police and reported no damage to his room.
3:01 a.m.: A caller on the 200 block of West Carlton Way
reported an ongoing problem with a couple that is having sex against a fence
outside his apartment. Three people were watching the couple partake on this
particular night.
6:05 a.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of Lavelle Smith Drive
reported her girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend continually driving by her house honking
his horn, whistling and shining his lights in her window.
7:04 a.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of Lavelle Smith Drive
reported seeing a man walking along the side of her house and jumping over her
backyard fence.
7:21 a.m.: Someone on the 2500 block of Choisser Court
reported seeing a pregnant woman entered a vacant house. She also said some men
had been staying at the house too.
7:29 a.m.: A woman on the 3300 block of Glenbriar Drive
reported her husband’s car window was broken out and the faceplate of the
stereo stolen. The taillights on the car were also damaged.
7:46 a.m.: A caller on Loma Verde Drive and Monte Vista Way
reported finding $200 while out on a walk.
7:52 a.m.: A woman house-sitting on the 1300 block of
Yorkshire Loop reported the homeowner’s car was egged.
7:57 a.m.: Someone on the 200 block of East 21st
Street reported a baby choking.
7:58 a.m.: A man reported his car window broken out on the
1300 block of Holly Drive.
8:33 a.m.: A caller at the Stein Continuation School, 650 W.
10th St., reported an anonymous phone call of a “large Hispanic
student” selling prescription drugs at school.
9:28 a.m.: A man on the 1200 block of Michael Drive said his
sister was yelling and throwing things at him.
9:44 a.m.: Someone on the 1400 block of Delores Lane
reported the caller’s house being egged sometime during the night.
9:50 a.m.: Someone at the Valero gas station, 1000 East 11th
St., reported a man beating up a woman.
11:25 a.m.: A caller at Extra Space Storage, 700 East St.,
reported finding hypodermic needles and crack pipes on the premises.
11:33 a.m.: Someone on the 1900 block of Pheasant Run Court
reported people entering a foreclosed, vacant house through the garage.
1:13 p.m.: Police arrested a man at Trail 50 mobile home park,
650 E. 11th St., on a warrant for possessing a car master key that
would open and operate all locks of cars within a given group.
1:39 p.m.: A woman on Country Court reported her car window
broken out and items taken from the auto.
2:04 p.m.: A woman on the 100 block of Cedar Mountain
reported receiving threatening text messages from her cousin stating that he
was going to hurt her boyfriend.
3:17 p.m.: Police arrested two boys on the 1500 block of
Promenade for “mutual combat” and released them to their parents.
3:59 p.m.: A man on the 2100 block of Wildflower Court
reported an ongoing problem of people peeing on his roof.
5:08 p.m.: A woman on the 500 block of Belmont Lane reported
her brother being hit by a car while riding his bike. The driver then sped off
without leaving any information.
6:03 p.m.: A woman driving near Buthmann Avenue and Clover
Road reported hearing a loud pop then noticed that her window had been broken
out.
6:07 p.m.: A woman on the 1900 block of Bessie Avenue
reported a man refusing to let her move her belongings out of her house.
6:17 p.m.: A man at the Speedee Oil Change, 711 W. Grant
Line Road, reported two men urinating on the side of the business that matched
the description of the suspects that stole a kid’s portable video game player
at the Jack In the Box next door the day before.
6:41 p.m.: A caller at Grant Line Road and Parker Avenue
reported a group of 30 to 40 people fighting.
8:15 p.m.: A woman on the 1400 block of Divine Lane reported
her daughter as missing after she ran away from home two days ago.
8:37 p.m.: Police arrested a man on the 1500 block of
Blackbird Court for violating a restraining order.
8:37 p.m.: Someone at the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, 812
West Clover Road, reported hearing a loud argument and screeching of tires.
Shortly after they saw someone run off and dive into a bush.
8:39 p.m.: Police arrested a man at 21st Street
and Parker Avenue on a petty theft warrant after they had pulled him over.
10:51 p.m.: A caller on Lincoln Boulevard and Valerie Lane
reported a man and a woman in an argument were “swinging” at each other.
11:36 p.m.: Someone reported their neighbor selling
marijuana outside of their house on the 2800 block of Sunset Way.
11:49 p.m.: Police arrested a man on 11th and F
Streets for public drunkenness.
