One man and a 16-year-old boy ran into a house on the 1400
block of Richard Drive, chased the residents around and hit one of them at
12:11 in the morning. The suspects ran out of the house and were last seen
heading down Richard towards the Quick Stop.
Tracy police responded to 213 calls for service on
Wednesday. The following is a sample of those reports:
12:22 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken
driving on the 800 block of West Clover Road.
12:37 a.m.: A caller reported people smoking drugs inside a
silver Nissan on the 400 block of Montclair Lane.
1:43 a.m.: A woman reported that someone threw a rock
through her car window on East Ninth Street.
1:48 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of battery on the
1500 block of Griffith Place.
3:58 a.m.: Police arrested a man who was sleeping on the
sidewalk on East Street and Whittier Avenue.
5:42 a.m.: A woman on the 500 block of Fawn Glen Drive
reported someone broke out the back window and tail light on one of her cars.
6:40 a.m.: A woman at In Shape Health Club, 101 N. Tracy
Blvd., reported the theft of her phone, a GPS device, her driver’s license and
cash from her vehicle.
6:46 a.m.: Someone spray painted a penis in front of a house
on the 1400 block of Heatherfield Way.
7:38 a.m.: A caller reported that someone broke into a
dental office at 1423 N. Tracy Boulevard.
7:43 a.m.: Someone broke into a caller’s car on the 200
block of Alene Avenue.
8:06 a.m.: A man reported someone broke into his truck and
stole his wallet stolen on the 1900 block of Thicket Lane.
9:11 a.m.: A woman reported that someone spray painted a
swastika on her back fence on the 1100 block of Tony Stuitt Drive.
9:42 a.m.: Someone reported a small child urinating on the
sidewalk in front of the post office on 125 West 9th Street.
12:04 p.m.: A man reported damage to the door and lock of
his SUV on the 3100 block of Ormonde Street.
1:01 p.m.: Someone reported a woman driving recklessly and
going through a red light at Beechnut Avenue and Tracy Boulevard.
1:07 p.m.: Someone on the 900 block of Vallerand Road
reported a boy running from a man who was driving a black van. The man was
overheard yelling that he was going to kill his step-son.
1:36 p.m.: Six alleged gang members all wearing red were
reported hitting a student at West High School at 1775 W. Lowell Ave.
1:44 p.m.: A father reported his son, who was under house
arrest, smoking marijuana in his bedroom on the 200 block of Whigham Court.
3:16 p.m.: Five boys, one with nunchakus, were seen walking near
Carol Ann Drive and Golden Leaf Court towards a group of 12 boys. The caller
believed the two groups were about to fight.
4:31 p.m.: An employee at Osh Kosh B Gosh, 1005 Pescadero
Ave., reported a woman stealing clothes.
6:32 p.m.: Someone reported kids throwing eggs at a
neighbor’s car on the 2100 block of Amatchi Drive.
7:30 p.m.: Someone on the 700 block of Quail Run Court
reported a 17-year-old mentally disabled boy screaming that he had been locked
out of his house. The boy was in his backyard and appeared to be very afraid.
7:51 p.m.: A caller reported kids playing paintball in
Gretchen Talley Park at 1400 Dove Drive.
8:27 p.m.: Someone reported five girls riding dirt bikes and
quad runners up and down the street, with some without helmets, on Brookview
Drive and Reids Way. The caller said the parents of the girls had been drinking
all day and had been riding the bikes and quads around the neighborhood.
8:35 p.m.: A woman on the 200 block of Cabrillo Drive
reported a homeless woman continually harassing her and asking to live in her
house.
10:14 p.m.: A man was arrested on a petty theft warrant
after being pulled over on Eighth and F streets.
10:59 p.m.: Police ticked a group of kids for egging a car
on Schulte Road and Tracy Boulevard.
