God bless you, spread your kind words, under your real name or ficitonal name. Isthistrue? is the way the patient would have spoken, he was a retired minister. He passed away two months after his massive stroke. Prior to that he had mini strokes and he is so strong in his spirit. His family ralied around him to the very end. Is that what everyone wants, also, at their end?

Bless the patient who inspired me so to spread word of kindess on his part before his passing.

mexican4life, this conversation with amy was on Aug. 1, Police blotter. I had decided to stop the complaining about these jokes and she tells me this.

I told amy a little while back not to give out to much information that was personal and if this is true it will come back to haunt her.

I am being chastised for my comments and decided to stay away from this. Then if you read the August first blotter I was compelled to speak. Little did I know this would come out. I have other names as well but to tell someone who has been berating you for your opinions that they are tricking you....well, I don't know. Except it proves we are not all perfect.

Yes, I guess that is what you could call it, a "moniker".

As with many others on the bloggers, maybe even you? Who knows?
I am glad to be his voice, though. Not trying to justify what I did, just glad to be part of senior awareness. Too many people don't really look at them today, looking over their needs and disabilities. I based my character isthistrue? on the patient mentioned and others in similar situation.

Even amy is not my real name. Like yours is not your real name and not going to push you for it,and don't expect anyone do to that to me either.... Only one person knows my real name and that is the web designer of the sports park. He will respect my privacy since I had every concern to be protective of my identity when in Tracy.

I am sure more than one people other than those who used their real names used many monikers? It is the dangerous monikers that I would be concerned about,.... as long as it brings awareness and requests as seniors would have asked... I don't think that is so bad. If I disappointed anyone, for that I am sorry.

Love to laugh! Keep the rewrite coming.

You don't know who anyone is on these blogs so I see no harm in amy "pretending" to be isthistrue?. If you're that engrossed in actually knowing someone's name this is not the place for you. This is a place where people can, if they choose, be someone else. Heck, they may not even be telling you the truth with what they do for employment. Hey, everyone just have a good time and try not to hurt others. You all have the right to your opinion but you don't have to remind others in every blog.

amy,

You're not going to hear the last it and I think you know who I'm talking about that will continue to bring this up. It's kind of like what's going to happen "if" the water park is built by "those who bribe". They will continue to bring up the donated water park for more perks. Read the paragraph on what Mike Souza said about the Grand Theatre. It's something that's going to be repeated over-and-over until they get what they want. There is no difference here.

I use one "name" only as there is no need to use another. Besides, using another alias is just plain deceitful. So just use amy, even if it's not your real name. My real name is not "fortheunderdog". smilies/cheesy.gif

Yes, I agree it is deceitful and not going to justify what I did.

Yes, going to keep amy.

Too many developers with their fingers in Tracy's City Pot. Crowding the Tracyites out, it seems.

Thanks for the gentle scolding, I deserved it.

Everyone will make a mistake in their life, just learn from it.

No scolding here, even I make mistakes. smilies/shocked.gif

"1:16 a.m.: A man reported a single gunshot coming from the direction of MacDonald Park and believed the shooter was walking down Central Avenue with a white guitar. "

What? Antonio Banderos sighted in Tracy!

I've been wondering about the police log/blotter too. Maybe it's going to be in the delivered paper only now because someone is making a stink over our re-writing? Oh well, we'll just have to re-write the stories then. Either way, I can find humor in just about everything.

A guy had been feeling down for so long that he finally decided to seek the aid of a psychiatrist.

He went there, lay on the couch, spilled his guts then waited for the profound wisdom of the psychiatrist to make him feel better.

The psychiatrist asked me a few questions, took some notes then sat thinking in silence for a few minutes with a puzzled look on his face.

Suddenly, he looked up with an expression of delight and said, "Um, I think your problem is low self-esteem. It is very common among losers."

The psychology instructor had just finished a lecture on mental health and was giving an oral test.

Speaking specifically about manic depression, she asked, "How would you diagnose a patient who walks back and forth screaming at the top of his lungs one minute, then sits in a chair weeping uncontrollably the next?"

A young man in the rear raised his hand and answered, "A basketball coach?"

The top six reasons computers must be female:

6. As soon as you have one, a better one is just around the corner.

5. No one but the creator understands the internal logic.

4. Even your smallest mistakes are immediately committed to memory for future reference.

3. The native language used to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.

2. The message "Bad Command or File Name" is about as informative as

"If you don't know why I'm mad at you, then I'm certainly not going to tell you".

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON COMPUTERS ARE FEMALE:

As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half of your paycheck on accessories for it.

Reasons computers must be male

They have a lot of data but are still clueless.

A better model is always just around the corner.

They look nice and shiny until you bring them home.

It is always necessary to have a backup.

They'll do whatever you say if you push the right buttons.

The best part of having either one is the games you can play.

The lights are on but nobody's home.
