Help restore the Delta Print E-mail
Written by Barbara Barrigan-Parrilla / Campaign director,
Tuesday, 29 July 2008

An activist says saving local waterways will take grassroots support.

EDITOR,

The 2,100 members of the Restore the Delta Campaign, based in Stockton, are happy to hear Supervisor Leroy Ornellas’ assessment of the peripheral canal and the broken governance system of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

We welcome public officials and Tracy residents to learn more about our organization by visiting www.restorethedelta.org.

I looked at the website, but didn't see any mention of lee-vees?

Will it be included in the discussion or separate issue?

Thanks!

More wetlands in California?

Will that put less strain on the leevees?

Thank you?
