Road work
California Department of Transportation will close multiple
lanes on southbound Interstate 5 as far south as

‘Shrek’ coming to town Comcast and the city of Tracy will present the first in a series of free movies at dusk Friday next to the new City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza. Residents are invited to take their own blankets and food, starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be face painting, prizes and entertainment before the movie — “Shrek the Third” — begins at 7:30 p.m. For information: 831-6000.

Pregnancy resource center fundraiser To raise money for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Tracy, the nonprofit and Texas Roadhouse restaurant will host a “Drive-Thru To Go” fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
