West volleyball camp
West High School will host a volleyball camp for incoming players at the school’s sub-gym.
The two-week camp will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and July 14 to 18.

Registration starts at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Cost is $50 for two weeks.

Campers should take water and dress in shorts and T-shirts.

West football camp

West High School invites potential football players to the Junior Wolf Pack Football Camp from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The camp will be at Steve Lopez Stadium on the West High campus and will be run by the coaching staffs and former players from West High, Tracy Buccaneers and Tracy Cougars.

The $40 camp fee includes a T-shirt and admission to the West vs. McNair home game Nov. 7.

Tracy High sports camp
The Tracy High Athletic Booster Club will host a Summer Sports Jamboree sports camp for all youths in kindergarten through eighth grade during the month of July.

Camps at Tracy High, 315 E. 11th St., will include instruction in volleyball, tennis, wrestling, soccer, flag football, dance and cheer, basketball and tumbling. There will also be guest speakers and contests at all camps.

Three Monday-through-Friday sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon each day this week, July 14 through 18 and July 21 through 25.

Cost is $75 for each week or $200 for all three weeks.

Mountain House basketball camp

“Just Ball’N” summer basketball camps for boys and girls will meet at Bethany School, 570 Escuela Drive, in Mountain House.

The three-day sessions will be Wednesday through Friday and July 23 to 25. Camps will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for children in first through fourth grades and 3:30 to 5:30 for youths in fifth through eighth grades.

Cost is $65 per week.

Golf ball drop benefit at Van Buskirk

The First Tee of San Joaquin will host a golf ball drop from noon to 2 p.m. July 12 at Van Buskirk Golf Course, 1740 Houston Ave., in Stockton.

Golf balls are numbered to matching ticket stubs and will be dropped from a Stockton Fire Department ladder truck over a target hole. The ball closest to the hole wins a $2,500 gift card from The Home Depot.

The event is a benefit for First Tee’s youth golf clinics, held Saturdays at
10 a.m. and Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m. at Van Buskirk Golf Course.

Tracy High youth football camp

Tracy High School will offer the Bulldog Football Skills Camp from 6 to 8 p.m. July 15 through 17 at Peter B. Kyne Field at Tracy High, 315 E. 11th St.

The camp is open to all youth and freshman-level players, and noncontact workouts will focus on the fundamentals of defensive and offensive play.

There will also be guest speakers, including Tracy High coaching staff and former Bulldog players.

Cost is $40 per camper.

Tracy Blues needs players
The Tracy Blues baseball club seeks players ages 10 to 12 to join the local travel team for the summer season.
