West volleyball camp West High School will host a volleyball camp for incoming players at the school’s sub-gym. The two-week camp will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and July 14 to 18.
Registration starts at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Cost is $50 for two weeks.

The camp will be at Steve Lopez Stadium on the West High campus and will be run by the coaching staffs and former players from West High, Tracy Buccaneers and Tracy Cougars.

Camps at Tracy High, 315 E. 11th St., will include instruction in volleyball, tennis, wrestling, soccer, flag football, dance and cheer, basketball and tumbling. There will also be guest speakers and contests at all camps.
Three Monday-through-Friday sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon each day this week, July 14 through 18 and July 21 through 25.

The three-day sessions will be Wednesday through Friday and July 23 to 25. Camps will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for children in first through fourth grades and 3:30 to 5:30 for youths in fifth through eighth grades.

Golf balls are numbered to matching ticket stubs and will be dropped from a Stockton Fire Department ladder truck over a target hole. The ball closest to the hole wins a $2,500 gift card from The Home Depot.

The camp is open to all youth and freshman-level players, and noncontact workouts will focus on the fundamentals of defensive and offensive play.
There will also be guest speakers, including Tracy High coaching staff and former Bulldog players.
