Two men were arrested after a man was stabbed several times Thursday afternoon in a fight in the parking lot of the West Valley Bowl on East Street.

A man got stabbed two times in the stomach and possibly the back after an all-out brawl in front of West Valley Bowl, 2365 East St., at about 2:40 Thursday afternoon.

Police arrested two men.

A bowling alley employee started arguing with five guys either inside or in front of the business, police said after interviewing the stabbing suspects.

Three friends of the bowling alley employee riding in a gold-colored sedan drove up, saw the fight and rushed out of their car to help their friend, police said.

“Then a fight broke out,” city spokesman Matt Robinson said. “It was three against five. One person ended up stabbing another.”

A man from the car stabbed someone from the group in front of the bowling alley, he said.

“It’s kind of like mayhem just broke loose,” said Kim Aguilar, a neighbor who witnessed the fight from across the street. “Guys just jumped out of the car and you could tell that one was stabbing somebody because of the motion of his arm.”

When the attackers fled, a friend carried the stabbing victim over his shoulder. Blood stained the friend’s white tank top.

Officers pulled up and placed him in an ambulance, and he was taken to the San Joaquin County General Hospital in serious, but not life-threatening condition, said police.

The three friends of the victim who remained at the crime scene refused to disclose their names. They looked to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Each suffered scrapes, bruises and cuts.

“Right now, there’s no clear-cut explanation to what happened,” Robinson said. “There are a lot of different witnesses,” which makes it difficult to tie together a cohesive story, he added.

Police have not released any names of suspects or the victim. Police might arrest more people, depending on what they find out in the investigation, Robinson said.

C'mon Tracy Press, do we really need to see the blood? Report the story, don't dramatize it with graphic photos. Grade: F

I've got to agree with AverageJoe. Why not get a picture of some brains next time there is a car wreck? Anything for a vicarious thrill. Come on TP, whoever this person was, low-life or not, they've got to have a family. Would you want to log on and see your relatives blood smeared on the sidewalk?

Uh oh people got stabbed. This is a rare case and has never been heard of in any other part of the country. Nobody ever gets stabbed right? Stuff happens, so that makes Tracy unsafe right? If your that upset about it then pack up and move to Livermore.

Yet another tragedy at West Valley Bowl which has been the scene of several fights in the past few months, 2 people were stabbed there and a murder too, this can't be good for business how about a security guard WVB?

CP, the previous stabbings were thrown out, never got justice for that one, so what do you expect. The judge let them go. Stabbing is wrong but posibly someones life was in danger and you can protect yourself, right ftud? And don't forget it has happened at all the major bars in town, so pointing it out that WVB is at it again, well... It is happening in all four corners of Tracy. I hope the bowl doesn't close down because of a few a.holes.

MNDC- Good point, it is happening all over town. I hope WVB doesn't close either but extra security sure wouldn't hurt. I hope citizens will continue to report any and all crimes so TPD can drive some of these gangs out of Tracy.

Yes but, the tracy bowling alley now has close circut tv cameras. I'm certain that it was all caught on the system they have.
Hey, Livermoore, that sounds like a nicer place to live. Too expensive for the welfare parents of disenfranchized kids who wanna be gangbanger's to live. And far enough away and too expensive for the rap-thugs to live too.

The boy who got stabbed was NOT a gang member so you can throw that out the window.. OH and good job TP for having no sense of math at all, you went from saying the guy who got stabbed was with 5 friends to saying 3 at the end of your babbling. Have it straight before you say something..it was 5 nortes trying to fight 3 good guys and 1 of those good guys got stabbed 4 times in his back. WOW thanks for putting that pic up there too, talk about NO RESPECT for the victim or his family

maybenotdumBcommenT,

You know, it's alright to come to the defense of your friends but when someone has to pull a weapon out that's when it's getting out of hand. What ever happened to a good old slug-fest? Seems nowadays that everyone has a weapon...knife, handgun, etc. Looks to me that the group of 5 got the worse of it but since nobody from that group wanted to give their names you really don't have a victim, just 8 suspects. Could be possible that all these people know each other. You can probably expect them to come together again to finish off what they've started.

Sunshine, go back and read the article. You will see that the TP was consistant in their reporting. 3 friends of the victim pulled up to help him. These 3 friends did not want to give their names. The 5 people were the suspects.

I dont care what you have to say lwest because i know the VICTIMS personally, and there were 3 victms and 5 agressors that they have never met before..The TP story doesnt have anything straight on what happend. And if you had got stabbed would you really want to give your name in the paper stating anything, NONE of the victims said anything, the only people that gave their input were the dumb TPD and the 2 suspects that were arrested

Your right ftud, I agree. The stabbing was dumb. But sunshinee the victims weren't innocent little walker bys. You don't have it straight either. The victims were hassling someone and boy did they get their toes stepped on. Only not how it should of happened. Maybe a punch in the nose but not this dumb a** stabbing, I shouldn't advocate violence but if these gangs want to keep fighting with each other, because you know there will be another retaliation over this one, they need a boxing ring.

Come to think of it...the West Valley Bowl sure is in a lot of news. And most of the news regards a violent nature. Could it be the area of town it's located in, as noted by another writer? Or is it just a coincidence that a lot of arguments are pin-pointed to that one parking lot?

All this bad news must taking away bowlers or potential bowlers. If I were West Valley Bowl I'd seriously be looking for some type of security company to patrol the place or install about 8 cc cameras. The violence is getting out of hand there.

Yes the bowling alley is getting a bad rap. Why is the bowling alley a magnet for this type of violent crime? Is it just the location? Or just the type of people that go there? Hope something can be determined and corrective action taken.

It seems like there are families who frequent the bowling alley who would not want to see this happen in the parking lot in front of their children. Horrible! I wonder if this will hurt business at the bowling alley? The poor owners must be frustrated with this rise in the activity. Hope they are working with the local authorities to make it work for interested families who would like to do business there.

I can certainly see a nice bowling alley as a center place (in our town) to get together for lots of events like, Birthday parties, Church groups, Work associates party, Friends getting together. A lot of great ideas. Hope they can find a solution to this problem.

Thanks!

I bowl occasionally at the West Valley Bowl but I never bowl at night. The parking lot is a magnet for car burglaries and vandalism. Maybe the majority of the people who get in trouble there are using the parking lot as a shortcut from Grant Line to East.

This would not have happened if the employee stayed inside and called the police. If that employee worked for me I would fire him in a heart beat.

OH NO! NOT BLOOD! ANYTHING BUT REALITY!

Don't put pictures of blood up, that's not right, there should be rainbows and kittens up instead of blood.

Grow up people, it's reality, get your heads out of the clouds and come back to Earth.

At first it was at the bowl a lot, crime, then it got pushed to Shamrock and Great Plate and I think Rusty's. It's all around us. Maybe more patrol at night over there at WVB would help. In the old days, they would walk thru occasionally.

Hey sunshine209, you say you know the victims and the perps of this tragedy but it seems to me your just talking out the side of your neck. If you had any brains in your head you would know you shouldn't be talking about this the way you are online, you could be accused of aiding and abeting or withholding information that could lead to an arrest in this case and then serve time yourself for something you weren't involved in, unless you were the female driving the car. (wink, wink) Think about it "STUPID"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Satan, even if she is talking out the side of her neck, as you put it, she used an alias so she is protected. She isn't going anywhere.

MNDC, word on the street is that this was a whiteboy fight, the last idiot arrested is named Zimmerman, (no nortes involved), and that they all new each other. If you don't think someone can be traced back to where they wrote there comments from or that someone doesn't know who she is by the alias she used then good luck. I hope nothing happens to her or anyone else over the stupid crap that happened at the bowling alley but she tried to point the finger at people that weren't involved in it and that itself is dangerous. I wasn't trying to offend anyone with what I said, I was just trying to make a point, be careful what you say, it may come back to haunt you.
