Tritons score another team win

The Tracy Tritons outscored the Manteca Dolphins and the Turlock Marlins at Tracy High School on Saturday for their third win of the Mid-Valley Swim League season.

The Tritons collected 1,033 team points, compared with 611 for Manteca and 67 for the newly formed Turlock club. Seven swimmers took first place in all three of their events, and the Tritons also won 15 of 21 relays.

6-and-under girls: Caitlin O’Neill, 50 freestyle, 43.87 seconds; 25 backstroke, 25.04; 25 freestyle, 19.92. Megan Gee, 25 butterfly, 31.98.

6-and-under mixed: Tritons’ 100 freestyle relay, one minute, 50.83 seconds.
7-8 girls: Samantha Tannahill, 25 butterfly, 23.46. Sophia Fairfield, 25 freestyle, 18.37. Tritons’ 100 freestyle relay, 1:19.81.
