Millennium High's Kayla Larson is a late add to the Harvest Christian League softball All-League squad.

Millennium High School freshman Kayla Larson was added last week to the Harvest Christian League softball All-League first team.

Larson started for the Falcons softball team in nearly every game, playing mostly first base and left field. She batted .360 and had 16 base hits for her team.

She said she had played softball for one season before joining the Millennium team, which went to the playoffs in its first year of league play. She also pursues the sport because it’s a family tradition, with baseball great Babe Ruth the cousin to her great-grandfather.

Millennium players previously named to the All-League list were Mary Sue Savage, also on the first team, and Kelsea Eakin and Nicole Ochoa, who received honorable mentions.
