I can't believe what a great success the 1st Tracy Futbol Tournament was and the Tracy Press completely blew it! There were 90 teams entered from all over the area, good qualitiy teams, some who won state cup. I think the Tracy Press did a real diservice to all the young Tracy players who played there heart out and who did very well overall in the tournament. Shame on you for no article on what a success story it was and the revenue it generated for our town. The biggest shame on you, is not having a single photo of a Tracy player. How sad is that? smilies/sad.gif

I agree with Debbie 100000% - very shameful that NOT one pic was of a tracy player nor a girl. I believe one of our own Tracy girl teams came away with a 3rd place and no recognition. I'm sure there were others. Bet I know what TP response will be: We rely on the TYSL to give us that info......duh, you're the paper, don't you do your own research?

The comments by Debbie and Soccer Mom were my sentiments exactly!! A great tournament and great showing by all Tracy players. Show the hometown players in a hometown game...BTW, The 13U girls team came in second to Modesto Ajax Elite. Fabulous job Tracy FC!!!
