Tracy police received 209 calls for service on Wednesday.
The following is a sample of those reports:
12:27 a.m.: A caller reported four or five men were chasing
someone through a parking lot on the 400 block of Sixth Street.
12:45 a.m.: The California Highway Patrol reported that a
caller heard two gunshots near Tracy Boulevard and Larch Road. Police found
nothing.
8:15 a.m.: A woman reported she’s having ongoing problems
with her neighbors on the 300 block of West Mt. Diablo Avenue, and believes her
neighbors stole her mailbox during the night, though she did not see them do
it.
8:47 a.m.: A woman reported that a man attacked her Tuesday
night in the parking lot of Save Mart at 875 S. Tracy Blvd. She said she went
to the hospital to get treated for an arm injury, and a hospital worker told
police she was seen there after being mugged.
9:40 a.m.: A caller reportedly chased a kid after the boy
stole a woman’s purse at 11th Street and Tracy Boulevard. Police
discovered it was no robbery, though, but a dispute between a boyfriend and his
girlfriend.
11:14 a.m.: Police arrested a man for public drunkenness on
the 1500 block of Buthmann Avenue.
12:32 p.m.: A caller reported two guys vandalizing property
near E and 10th streets.
12:39 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was outside of a home
on the 700 block of Ninth Street, acting strange, talking to herself, swinging
a knife, and stabbing parts of a building. Police detained her and talked to
her.
1:32 p.m.: A caller from the Orient Express at 631 Central
Ave. reported that someone who stole checks from the business has cashed them.
4:08 p.m.: Police arrested a man for trespassing after he
refused to leave the West Valley Mall at 3200 Naglee Road.
4:16 p.m.: A caller on the 1200 block of El Portal Street
reported he received a text message from a man who believes the caller is
sleeping with the man’s wife. The message read, “9 ML. Watch your back.”
5:04 p.m.: A caller reported two men were fighting on the
ground while a woman watched at Lowell Avenue and Orchard Parkway.
6:47 p.m.: A caller reported three boys were “marking up the
wall” with graffiti under the Interstate 205 overpass to Corral Hollow Road.
7:45 p.m.: A caller from the Abala Pharmacy at 1421 N. Tracy
Blvd. reported receiving more than 20 prescriptions since January for narcotics
from people in the same family.

Lets see........... Stolen checks were cashed. Hello!!!!!!! Why steal checks if ya dont plan on cashing them, unless your all in that collecting stolen checks for the sentimental value.
