West also finished third in the frosh-soph girls, fifth in the varsity girls and sixth in the varsity boys. All teams had members who qualified for the Sac-Joaquin Section meet scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at Sacramento City College.

The top five athletes in each event qualify for the section meet.

Results are in for the San Joaquin Athletic Association field events, but track results were not available at press time. The top four athletes in each event will go to the section meet. Qualifiers from Tracy are as follows:
