Cameron Davis shot a score of 45 at the Wilton Christian tournament Tuesday at Emerald Lakes Golf Course in Elk Grove and teammate Ryan Plusch shot 46. Their average scores for the season, 48 for Davis and 48.6 for Plusch, gave them the second and third spots among six players who will go to the section tournament in addition to Big Valley Christian’s team and Jim Elliot Christian’s team, the two top teams in the Harvest Christian League.

Millennium’s golf team was ranked fourth in the HCL, with Brookside Christian as the third-ranked team among seven in the league. Davis and Plusch were ranked 10th and 11th in the league for their average individual scores.

The top five golfers in the league include Matt Stewart, Elliot, average score 38; Joe Green, Big Valley, 40.7; Jared Lunsford, Big Valley, 41.9; Taylor Anderholt, Big Valley, 44.6; and Tip Manley, Elliot, 45.

Other Millennium scores from Tuesday were Tim Langston, 51; Ryan Soares, 57; Matthew Nolen, 61; and Britany Oswald, 64.
