A Tracy resident takes to task the politicians at the top.

EDITOR,

I have just watched President Bush’s most recent news conference. He tells about problems all over the world. Do these guys ever look at the news or leave the office?

They don’t even seem to be aware that our borders are a joke, Social Security is a mess, gas prices are a rip-off, real estate is a mess. And none of these and other problems are new; they have been around for a while.

The new Congress was going to fix all this and has not done a thing to address any real problems. The presidential candidates talk and promise, but they have no real desire to fix it — or it would have been fixed a long time ago.

Who is tending the store? Fire the whole bunch of fools.

The Govt. screws up everything it touches and yet you expect them to solve your problems?
