A caller said she invited a former neighbor to park in front of her home on the 2100 block of Deborah Street, but the guest overstayed his welcome and apparently started living out of his white Chrysler LeBaron in the caller’s driveway. The call was reported at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday. Tracy police received 231 calls for service on Tuesday. The following is a sample of those reports. 7:33 a.m.: A woman from the 1200 block of Sequoia Boulevard asked a cop to please talk to her neighbor, who claimed that she’d slashed his car tires. 7:59 a.m.: A caller said there was a fight at Zanussi Park, 1500 Promenade Circle, and that one person got thrown on the sidewalk. 8:34 a.m.: A 35-year-old man turned himself in to police for domestic violence. He was arrested on the spot, at the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Plaza. 9:02 a.m.: Someone said a car was seriously damaged sometime during the night on the 2900 block of Frank Brown Court. 10:11 a.m.: Someone from McLane Distribution, 800 Pescadero Ave., said a car was broken into sometime the day before. 10:26 a.m.: A caller said that someone tampered with electrical wiring on the 900 block of Sunnyside Lane. 10:28 a.m.: A caller reported that a weed eater and blower was stolen from a backyard shed sometime during the night on the 1500 block of Franklin Avenue. 11:02 a.m.: A car on the 900 block of Windeler Avenue got burglarized the night before. 11:38 a.m.: An employee from Uncle Credit Union, 1960 W. Grant Line Road, called police to ask for a case number on a credit union member who deposited stolen checks. 12:05 p.m.: Someone stole a UPS package from a caller’s porch right after it was delivered, on the 400 block of Acacia Street. 1:15 p.m.: An older gold car rammed into a caller’s backyard fence and then promptly drove off down the 100 block of Manzanita Lane. 1:34 p.m.: A caller from Avalon Apartments on the 500 block of Peerless Way said her boyfriend had hit her in the head several times. 2:19 p.m.: An older man was seen slumped over the steering wheel of a gold Saturn near the 21st Street and Court Drive intersection. He was only sleeping, an emergency responder found. 2:36 p.m.: A caller from the 700 block of Billy F. Freeman Lane claimed that a neighbor had punched her in the face over the weekend. 2:40 p.m.: A caller told police that a vendor outside McKinley School, 800 W. Carlton Way, was selling food to students without a permit. 3:20 p.m.: The driver of a black, 1980s Ford Truck was seen racing and weaving in and out of traffic near the Tracy Boulevard-Grant Line Road intersection, a caller said. 3:24 p.m.: A man in a silver Cadillac chased a blue Honda Accord down 23rd Street toward Parker Avenue, and then the two got out of their cars and started fighting, a caller said. 3:35 p.m.: A man in Alden Park, 500 Sequoia Blvd., was shooting people in the dark with BB guns, a caller said. The caller’s son was hit, and the shooter had two guns, a handgun and a rifle. 6:43 p.m.: A caller found graffiti on a fence along 1600 Court Drive. 6:55 p.m.: A caller from the 1900 block of Wall Street said an employee of his company was fired recently and had started acting crazy Thursday morning, threatening another employee with a car. The former employer asked police to wait by the man’s house and take the business’ keys from him. 7:07 p.m.: Someone complained about loud, profane music from the Fourth Street-Mt. Diablo Boulevard intersection. 7:13 p.m.: A caller told police that he found a secret hiding place for stolen copper wiring. 7:13 p.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old man who had an outstanding warrant for drug possession. 7:31 p.m.: A caller said a bunch of kids were shooting each other and the surrounding area with paintball guns around Redbridge Drive and Mockingbird Lane. 8:45 p.m.: A black suburban crashed near the Corral Hollow Road-Lowell Avenue intersection, injuring a pregnant woman and another driver.
