A Stockton man sings the praises of his candidate for county supervisor.

EDITOR,

Tom Benigno is running for San Joaquin County’s 5th Supervisorial District.

We, at our house, are thankful. Why? Because he’s a native in the district. He and his family went through all levels of school here. He’s always actively helped to give meaning to all good ideas of bettering the district.

Tom has been a lifetime farmer, local businessman, father of five grown children and a go-to guy to get things done, civically. He is very clear on the issues: money for education, rebuilding Delta levees, upgrading all transportation (Highways 12 and Interstate 205 at a minimum), finding more jobs and bolstering the county hospital.

Tom sees the emergencies, and he can articulate the urgency, the timeframe, where the money is and who is holding up the remedies. This man not only sees the need but feels it, too.

Mr. Murphy - Supervisor Ornellas is a native of the District, went to school here, is a lifetime Farmer, local businessman, a Father of three grown children who also farm and several grandchildren who attend local schools - It is interesting that someone from Stockton would be so interested about who South County voters would select to serve them - By the way, HWY 12 is not in the 5th District - If Tom is worried about money for schools, he should run for the School Board of Trustees - I would bet that Tom doesn't even know where money for roads comes from or the process to get it - So what is Tom's timeframe to make all of these things happen???

He needs to run for this position, its not on his list of offices he has ran for before. Someone needed to run against Leroy Ornellas, he (L.O.)was complaining that he didn't have an opponent ... still doesn't

OK! Can't stand it any more. I just have to ask.

Has anyone else who frequents the TP comments here but me noticed several people have suddenly become totally silent?

I thought at first, hey, perhaps they are on vacation, or something. But it's gone on now for a couple of weeks, and not a peep.

Where are bob blinker, Mister B and several others? Or is
it perhaps those who they support have reigned them in because they were making them look bad in the public eye?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

I'm here. Observing of course. Yes, Dave it is noticeably quiet lately. One year ago, this was a hotbed of activism, but I seriously think it will kick into high gear once again as the elections grow closer. I personally have been busy at work, but I am monitoring the situation. One would think that Mr Benigno would be hard at work in here pushing his cause, but I guess he isn't serious about this.

Further, I am wondering if "bob blinker" got her IP address blocked by the Tracy Press. She always said "*ucker" for almost a *whole* year now!?!?! (note: to Sherri, that was a quote from bob blinker. She wrote it, not me, ok?). Personally I feel that she should have had her IP address blocked a year ago. And that someone should have sued her to boot. IMHO. I also think the Tracy Press should be chided, here, for not blocking "bob blinker's" IP address sooner. TP consider yourself chided.

The only thing left is that we are left wondering - if it was/wasn't Garamendi that put in a request to the Tracy Press that they block blinker's IP address. Dave may be on to something. She was making her favorite candidate look bad. (note to Sherri [at the TP]: all sides should be told, please don't delete. Thanks!)

Will you be posting as Tom Benigno, or under addition assumed names?
Have you ever denied posting under your assumed names?
