Events and meetings in Tracy and Mountain House. Pioneers meet tonight The West Side Pioneers will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Lolly Hansen Senior Center, 375 E. Ninth St. Dan and Jackie Giesing will give a presentation. For information: David Lee, 836-3358. School yard sale The Tracy Seventh-day Adventist Christian School will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the church, 2025 Holly Drive. For information: 835-5342, or 835-6607. Teen dance Friday Tracy’s recreation department will sponsor a dance for middle schoolers from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Lolly Hansen Senior Center, 375 E. Ninth St. Students must have school identification and dress appropriately. No abusive or vulgar behavior will be tolerated. Cost is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. For information: 831-6200. Moose steak dinner Tracy Moose Lodge No. 2283 will serve steak at its dinner at 6 p.m. Friday at 35 E. Sixth St. Cost is $12. For information: 835-4366. Relay garage sale The St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Relay For Life team will have a garage sale to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Kindergarten registration Kindergarten registration packets are available at Tracy Unified School District’s year-round elementary schools, Freiler, Kelly and North, and can be mailed between April 23 and May 2. For Bohn, Central, Delta Island, Hirsch, Jacobson, McKinley, Poet Christian, South/West Park and Villalovoz schools, first-day kindergarten registration packets are available starting today, sibling registration packets can be picked up starting Tuesday, and regular registration packets will be available April 29 to May 21. For information: 830-3200. VFW omelet breakfast Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1537 will host a build-your-own omelet breakfast from 9 to noon Sunday at the Tracy Moose Lodge, 39 E. Out with old textbooks The Tracy Unified School District will dispose of its outdated and worn-out science textbooks and library materials. Materials can be viewed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Monday and April 24 at the Instructional Media Center, Building A, 1975 W. Lowell Ave. For information: 830-3252. Italian Catholic dinner The Italian Catholic Federation will host a monthly dinner April 24 that coincides with its annual Heritage Night celebration.

Parent club fundraiser The West High School Senior Parent Club will host a Texas Hold ’em tournament from 6 to 11 p.m. April 26 at the Tracy Moose Lodge, 35 E. Sixth St. Cost is $25 for adults and $20 for high school seniors and includes appetizers, buy-in and chances to win raffle prizes. Proceeds will go to the senior class’ graduation cruise.
