Numbers • 6: Number of miles in the Olympic torch run today along the waterfront and around Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. • 114: Age of the oldest person in California, second-oldest in the U.S. and third-oldest on Earth. Gertrude Baines celebrated her birthday Sunday with cake, singing, proclamations and superlatives. • 115: Age Edna Parker will turn in two weeks. She’s from Indiana, and she’s the oldest person in the U.S. and the world. • $4 million: Amount California’s labor leaders are demanding Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez return to the state Democratic Party. • 19 percent: How much General Motors Corp.’s U.S. sales fell in March, compared with last March. Ford dropped 14 percent, and Toyota was down 10 percent.
