ATWATER — Tracy High senior Ryan Scornaienchi broke Tracy High School’s record for base hits — 76 — in the fourth inning of a game against Atwater High School tonight.

Steve Alkire, Class of 1992, held the previous record, with 75 between 1990 and 1992.

The Bulldogs won tonight, 14-2, and will play West High School Thursday, during the last day of the 49th annual Atwater Lions Club Tournament, at Atwater Memorial Ball Park.
