A woman robbed the Community Banks of Northern California this afternoon. Melinda Pierce, evidence technician for the Tracy Police Department. Cheri Matthews/Tracy Press A woman robbed the Community Banks of Northern California at 10th Street and Central Avenue this afternoon. Details are few so far, though officer Ricardo Hernandez said the woman was in her 20s or 30s. The bank notified police of the robbery at about 4:30 p.m., Hernandez said. It's unclear if the suspect got into a car or walked off after the heist, and Tracy police detective Lt. Ryan Knight declined to reveal how much money she got away with. Knight and Hernandez said they were unaware of any other bank robberies in the region today. Lawyer Archie Bakerink, a board member of the bank, huddled with tellers, other bank employees and officers inside the locked down bank as a technician dusted for fingerprints and officers tried to piece together what happened. My daughter works in a Bay Area bank that was robbed two years ago. My daughter's window was the one the two men robbed. Whey the men approached the window they pushed a woman to the side which upset my daughter. The men had their hands in their pockets pretending they had guns. It took everything my daughter had not to jump over the counter and put the hurt on these men. She said that they didn't treat her any different than her ex-husband did. Her ex-husband would threaten her then cuss up a storm and demand all her money. People don't realize how much women can handle. They go through PMS, mental and verbal abuse, menopause, etc. We are survivors. Next time someone thinks about doing a woman wrong, think twice because she may just go after you like a monkey going up a tree. P.S.
