Tracy police dispatchers received 345 calls for service
Sunday and Saturday. The following is a sampling of those calls:
Sunday:
1:56 a.m.: Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant
from Santa Clara County after a caller reported a crowd gathered around two
guys fighting in front of Sunset Liquors, 2355 Parker Ave. Police said they
also found drugs during the incident.
1:56 a.m.: A man reported his sister punched him in the face
outside of Maxim’s, 3380 N. Tracy Blvd. Police found him to be very drunk, and
took no report.
2:17 a.m.: A man on the 500 block of Tennis Lane reported a
family down the street egged their house for racial reasons. The caller
reported having problems with neighbor’s kids stealing his kids bicycles, and
he confronted the suspects parents but they don’t seem to care. The caller said
he believes his kids are being picked on because they are white, and the
suspects are black.
2:57 a.m.: A caller reported a drunken driver nearly hit the
caller head-on near Lincoln Boulevard and Suellen Drive, but police could not
find the suspected drunken driver.
5:20 a.m.: A caller on the 3400 block of Castle Court
reported that someone with a gun threatened to kill the caller.
7:35 a.m.: Someone vandalized a caller’s car for the second
time in a month on the 2100 block of Cooper Road, and the caller suspects a
neighbor’s kids who get in trouble with police.
7:45 a.m.: Someone stole sounds equipment from the Tracy
Community Church at 1790 Sequoia Boulevard.
9:17 a.m.: Someone burglarized a car on the 1600 block of
Reyes Lane.
11:45 a.m.: A caller at the Monticello School at 1001
Cambridge Place reported someone spray painted graffiti on a nearby sound wall.
12:10 p.m.: A man reported a fight between two men and two
women in the parking lot of Burger King at 3220 N. Tracy Blvd., but the
suspects were gone when police arrived.
1:02 p.m.: Someone threw a rock through a car window on the
200 block of West Lowell Avenue.
2:34 p.m.: Someone threw a rock threw a car windshield on
the 300 block of South Central Avenue.
6:01 p.m.: A caller reported six teenagers smoking drugs and
possibly spray painting graffiti at the Pombo Family Park, 2112 Joseph Damon
Drive.
7:17 p.m.: A woman on the 300 block of West 22nd
Street reported her ex-husband broke her windshield Saturday night.
9:26 p.m.: A woman on the 1800 block of Rochester Street
reported a man pointed a gun at her 19-year-old son, who wanted to fight the
man. She said the suspect lives around the corner.
8:13 p.m.: A caller reported he was followed to his Eaton
Terrace apartment at 225 W. Eaton Ave. by someone outside of Mi Esperanza, and
the suspect threw things at him and threatened him with a knife. The victim
later said he wanted no police involvement.
Saturday:
3:17 a.m.: A woman reported she left her door cracked open
at the Motel 6 at 3810 N. Tracy Blvd. and later discovered a microwave oven and
a crockpot stolen. A friend in another room told the caller she knows who took
it.
3:59 a.m.: Police arrested a man on the 300 block of East 21st
Street after a caller reported the man was threatening the caller’s daughter
and was very drunk. The daughter told police the man was “crazy” and “had a lot
of white stuff in his nose.”
9:42 a.m.: A woman reported that people who live nearby have
a rooster in their backyard that keep waking her up on the 2100 block of
Lincoln Boulevard.
10:21 a.m.: Someone vandalized a car on the 1900 block of
Pagoda Court.
11:21 a.m.: A woman on the 200 block of San Simeon Way
reported someone used her checking account information.
11:28 a.m.: Someone stole copper from Re/Max Real Estate at
2311 N. Tracy Blvd.
12:41 p.m.: Someone stole a woman’s 1997 green Cadillac
DeVille, which she had bought the week prior, from the 2900 block of North
Tracy Boulevard.
12:49 p.m.: A woman on the 300 block of South Court reported
someone “carved” gang graffiti on the school bus she takes home at night.
3:52 p.m.: A man showed up to the Sutter Tracy Community
Hospital Emergency Room with a broken leg and bloody nose and said he was hurt
at “a friend’s house,” but wanted no police involvement.
4:40 p.m.: Police arrested a man after a caller reported
someone driving a red Ford Mustang driving 70 miles per hour near Kavanagh
Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.
5 p.m.: A caller at Beverly Place and Jeffrey Drive reported
being charged by a pit bull.
7:12 p.m.: Police detained a retired firefighter on the 1500
block of Meadow Lark Lane after he sent an e-mail to the caller saying he was
“done with everything,” no longer wanted to live, and would “kill anyone who called
the police … and will kill police.” The caller reported the man may have been
taking too many pain pills, and the man’s brother and wife asked police to use
a Taser on the suicidal man instead of “lethal force.”
8:41 p.m.: A woman reported she took her son to Tracy High School
at 315 E. 11th St. to get a book from his locker and discovered
several lockers were broken open and stuff was strewn all over.
9:53 p.m.: A woman on the 200 block of Holly Drive reported
her great granddaughter’s boyfriend vandalized her couch.
11:32 p.m.: A woman on the 2300 block of Castle Court
reported a man called her and threatened to get a gun go to her home. She said
he slashed her son’s tires and was arrested at Tracy Billiards.

Let me get this straight-
A grown women needs to take a school bus home. Isnt she too old to get on a school bus?
