West falls 4-3 to Davis
The West High varsity baseball team lost a close game on the
road at Grace Davis High in
West coach Jim Rice said starting pitcher Ryan Devencenzi
held
Matt Fontaine came in to pitch for the last out, and West was unable to score in the top of the seventh. The loss puts West at 3-4 for the season, with the next game Friday on the road against Fairfield as the teams play a game that was originally scheduled in February but was rained out.
