A man speaks against what he calls "far-left, quasi-terrorist organizations" like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
With a great deal of sadness, I read Saturday’s article titled “Science (un)Fair,” in which the spineless organizers of the San Joaquin County Science Fair denied 13-year-old Michaela Loomis the right to participate because of the beliefs of a far-left, quasi-terrorist organization like PETA.
I can’t imagine the disappointment this girl must feel over having her potentially award-winning project disqualified because organizers feared what “might have happened” if the PETA protesters were allowed to infiltrate this event.
On the flip side, instead of being able to recruit these youngsters for future terrorist-like activities, the majority if not all of these participants have been shown the true agenda of what PETA really stands for and will make the wise decision to avoid it in the future.
