Local resident tells readers that America will be shifted by the green movement.

EDITOR,

Like the Industrial Revolution and computer revolution, which shifted the economical and social paradigms, there will be another revolution driven by the green concept, which will have an enormous, positive impact on the new wave of jobs and overall economical activities.

Historically, America’s competitive edge has had everything to do with its ability to create a future front through innovations. Therefore, slowly, everyone, including conservatives who are opposed to any government roll in making a forced paradigm shift to green, will recognize that instead of the job killer, green will be the mantra for job creation, which is not only needed to sustain economy but also to maintain America’s status as the leader of the world.

In addition to the green concept, biomedical, which is still in its infant stage in terms of the life cycle, will be another area that will hugely contribute to the future economy.

Although many people give credit to Silicon Valley for computer revolution, in reality, computer revolution was an evolution that started in the military, with research-and-development projects. Military is already spending its big budget for biomedical research; it should have a similar focus within the green concept.

America’s future status as the global leader will depend on our ability to think outside the box and prioritize spending on research and development that may be essential to create an environment for the future industrial revolutions.

Fuel economy is a pressing issue for the military. The effectiveness of weapons systems is limited by supply chains and supply chains are vulnerable. And an Abrams tank burns fuel at a rate that makes a heavy truck look green.

The Europeans are ahead of us in technology that is much safer for the environment than fossiled fuel powered vehicles..

Cleans the air, (exhaust air is cleaner than the intake air!)

Europe is mass producing these cars, Australia, too. Why not in USA??

which will have an enormous, positive impact on the new wave of jobs and overall economical activities.

This is complete trash, yes Billions will be spent on these "Fake" jobs...they will produce nothing of benifit for America, and when the Market see that, it will draw away and we will see the Huge losses of billions of American Tax dollars down the drain, and the Economy will follow. we are facing a "green" disaster, and the Author is a complete Moron.

Maybe, will see. Time will tell. And no I have not invested with the company.

However if I invest in energy, I would view them as a threat?

People laughed at the idea of "iron horse".

then they laughed at the idea of a car, "get a horse!"

Will wait and see the results with the "air car".... How many years was it before Ford mass produced his cars from the time he created it?

Could be a racket like ENRON, MORTGAGE LENDING COMPANIES AND SO ON... time will tell.

Steve Resshakis,

Luny comments like this reminds us the readers of your capability to think and comprehend. The green technology is going to play a major roll in the future economy, whether it's dislike of you or any other right wingers, who are stuck to their ideology.

Where are you getting your "billions of dollars of loss", from your prophets, Limbaugh and Hannity? What evidence do you have to prove that?

That's right Amy, if America had to depend on Reshakis and Maggi's support, we would still be riding the horse and buggy. What do you think these two would have said had they first read about the Wright brothers first successful airborne?

and as they say....rest is history!!

Neagative compulsive disorder. Or; Conscious ideas that when you leavethe house in the morning still thinking something is always wrong?
It's a proven fact that a male over the age of fifty who doesn't use his brain dies unceremoniously with non compos mentis.
It must be a meaurable burdening effect not to change things you appear to be attentive to.
