Bob, not all teen drivers are crazy. There is such a thing as an "accident." I know there are stereotypes about how bad teen drivers are... but they aren't necessarily true. I'm sure the teen that caused this collision wasn't aiming for Borders and I'm sure she wasn't thinking "Wow, I have my license, whose life should I ruin?". It's not fair to judge people YOU don't know. Instead of downing on the girl, why not support Borders and his family. Do the right thing. - Not another "crazy" teen driver

Why do people in a time of sorrow or pain bring things up they know nothing about and add to the trauma? What is it the bad brings out the worst in people? I just don't get it. His poor family. He has a wife mother father and children! He was doing everything correct on that day. They were wearing helmets he wasn't speeding. His young niece was on the back was it karma for her too? Karma for the teenage driver who hit him? What kind of person are you? Well we all love you Charles and family!!! - Georgina O.

His past has caught up with him... Nobody wishes this on anyone, but I heard he committed a serious crime against a young girl a few years ago. Maybe Karma... - Karma Police

Unfortuneatly Charles developed an infection and had to have surgery the other day. They had to remove more from his leg. He was scheduled to come home too. Now he has to spend more time away from his family and friends that love and care for him so deeply. I hope this teenage driver gets some counseling. This is a horrible thing to do to someone. We love you Charles!!

As a rider and resident of Tracy, I've had more close calls on my motorcycle because of the lack of attention and carelessness the young kids in town have when they are behind the wheel of their vehicles. I am angry to know Mr Border's lose his leg. Everyday, when I pass the spray paint on the pavement at the scene from Tracy PD, I pray for Charles and his family. - AINT URZ

My daugher is in 8th grade with the girl involved. How smart that they were both wearing helmets! It could have been even more tragic.

How wonderful that Ms. Jugy put her hesitations aside and stopped to help. She may have saved Mr. Border's life. Thanks to the press for showing the brighter side to such a sad event.

Danielle,

If you can, please let Charles Borders know how saddened we are to hear of his accident, that his brother and sisters at Bikers Accident Survivor Forum are supporting him through his recovery and therapy. We are thinking of him and his niece, his family too.

By all means, Thank Monica Jugy and let her know she is in all our prayers of thanks.
