amy, it's easier to sneak up on someone and lie right to them and accuse them of doing something wrong when you yourself did something even worse. Pretend to be better then me but lying is worse, at least I was up front about my feelings. Oh, I know you will figure out a way to justify your lying about being isthistrue. You are the Queen of justification. Don't tell me to temper myself after the whopper you just pulled. It was a failed attempt to suck me in but God always lets the truth come out to me. One way or the other.

4:45p.m. isthistrue was seen laying on gurney in the hospital. Nurse amy said,"isthistrue, how old are you"? He said, It doesn't matter, I'm dead remember"?

"5:49 p.m.: A woman called from Nation’s Giant Hamburger, 3574 N. Tracy Blvd., to report that her “ex” threatened to kill her because she would not stop making him pay child support. "

I am just trying to visualize how this confrontation went down during the consumption of a couple of large hamburgers. "since I bought you the burger can I stop paying that monthly support?" "No your child needs to eat" "well, then you left me no choice, as soon as I finish I will have to kill you" - briandub

TRACY – A 22-year-old man was arrested Tuesday at his Livermore home for allegedly setting a fire that destroyed his ex-girlfriend's sport utility vehicle and damaged a nearby building and fence.

Lawrence Thompson was going through a bad breakup with his girlfriend, said Tracy city spokesman Matt Robinson, when the two argued on June 28 at an address in the 300 block of West Mount Oso Avenue in Tracy. During the argument, Thompson demanded from the woman the return of a cellular phone and $200, said Robinson. Thompson allegedly threatened to destroy her property if she did not hand over the phone and money.

Thompson then allegedly set fire to the woman's 1998 Ford Explorer, which spread to a nearby fence and building, said Robinson. The fire destroyed the vehicle and caused more than $11,500 in damage.

Afterward, Thompson sent the woman e-mails, text messages and flowers in an effort to apologize for destroying the vehicle.

"Apparently, it didn't work," Robinson said of Thompson's efforts to make amends.

Robinson said police in Tracy and Livermore since late June have been coordinating in an effort to find and arrest Thompson, who was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on Tuesday on suspicion of arson. He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

7:15 p.m.: A caller reported that three kids who seemed to be about 15-years-old were using 2x4s to beat on equipment at Veterans Park, 238 Glenhaven Drive.

Wouldn't it be a better report if it were about 3 Veteran's using 2x4s to beat on 15-year-old thugs @ Equipment Park? Just saying.... :o - Concerned Parents

Annie Snyder,

Nah, I don't hate Costco. I was only complaining that when you're going to buy 3-4 items totalling maybe $30 you wind up exiting the store with a full cart totalling over $200. ;)

amy,

Yep, their roasted chickens are the best, aren't they? We get one about every-other-time we're there along with their dinner rolls and mixed veggie platter. I'm getting hungry already. :D

While we're on the subject of Costco, my cousing in Redding turned me on to Kirkland's "VITA-RAIN". Have you guys tried that? No calories, sodium, sugar, etc just VITAMINS! I asked my doctor about this and he told me he drinks it too. He said the Gatorade, Propel, etc all have calories and absolutely no nutritional value. He said if you have children the Vita Rain is the way to go. We don't have children living with us but when our grandkids come over they automatically go for the gargage and get something to drink from the fridge. At least with the Vita Rain I don't have to worry about them getting all sugar or caffeined up. :D - fortheunderdog

I really like their "roasted chicken" and would purchase two at a time! And the easy availability to provide veggie "snacks" for the staff.
Good eating at pleasing prices! Loving their samples, too! Without going overboard on tempting calories, yum!

Good for Costco! Good for everyone's wallets!

2:50 p.m.: Police arrested a man at the KFC, 400 W. 11th St., after a caller there reported he came in and threatened people. He was later seen lying on the sidewalk in front of the business.

Wrong place of employment to "play dead", they don't serve fried road kill possums there! KFC for Kentucy Fried Chicken, not Kentucky's Fried Coons! PS. one escaped recently?

I LOVE Costco!!!!!! I was so happy when they came to Tracy. I only live about a mile and a half away. It it my regular grocery store. My 12 year old showed me a short cut down Byron Rd. It won't work in the winter because it will be muddy. If all I need is one thing, and I walk, I don't buy too much. See? Excersize my body and Costco limits.
ftud....c'mon...do you really hate Costco, or do you hate how you react to Costco? I, too, am guilty of the Costco impulse purchases, but I place the blame where it belongs. Own your impulsivity. Admitting it is the first step.
Having teens, I find the bulk purchases necessary. I love to grocery shop! I grew up pretty poor. I overcompensate now with a full pantry and two full refrigerators. Plus, that is my only retail therapy outlet. I don't like clothes shopping. I hate the mall! I am not into all the girly stuff that women spend money on. I am into FOOD!!! My whole life and thinking is centered around food in one form or another. The getting and using, and finding ways and means to get more. I peruse the adds and compare. I love that Safeway and Savemart are right across the street from each other so I can leave one if I am not satisfied with the price and hop on over to the other. Can you tell I am into it? - Annie Snyder

My opinion still stand on your being too harsh, sorry. No difference there. You need to "temper" your words without being so much of being "in your face" and so angry as Annie Snyder tried to explain kindly to you.

Before you jump, not Annie Snyder!

My opinion of your harsh comments still stands, too harsh.

I no longer believe anything you say because you are a poser amy or who ever you are. Don't talk down to me because you lied right to me and there is nothing more then I hate is a liar. And you admitted it. How dumb is that? - maybenotdumBcommenT

Justin281gt,

I hate Costco. Go in to buy 2-3 items and leave with a full cart. One good thing about Costco are the Costco hotdogs w/drink + a refill. $1.50...best deal around. Of course when I'm with my wife she "limits" my intake of those by asking me to buy a strawberry sundae instead. :D - fortheunderdog

9:15 p.m.: A caller reported losing a wallet at Baskin Robbins, 965 N. Tracy Blvd.

I didn't think Baskins Robbins pricing was that bad. I usually lose most of the contents of my wallet after a trip to Cold Stone!"
