At the height of their financial power the Japanese found some attractive properties, business, bonds etc here in the US. Later, high profile properties were purchased back by US companies for various reasons. Without exception financial conditions change... are you uneasy when we buy foreign businesses and/or properties? A weak dollar means our exports are more attractive. My sense of outrage over events connected with China, the world, and locally is less each day as I read the latest thing that each major party's front runners stumble over, or the latest item from some political aspirant for local office, the state legislature, the governor, or congress.
