Dale,

DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?
Yes, perfectly. The Caps and your previous writings say I am crossways with another socialist.
On Hitler
I think I posted the piece that: Hitler was a gifted orator who captivated many with his beating of the lectern and growling, emotional speech...

So 1) You're going to believe everything he says
No... by his actions also.

My repost response to your reposting of your original posts... now this is getting us somewhere

"•We shall create a hierarchical constitution, which will mechanically govern all movements of individuals."
"•From 1933 to 1935 the democratic structure of Germany was replaced with a completely centralized state. The autonomy previously exercised in many matters by the provincial governments was eliminated, and these subnational governments were transformed into strictly controlled instruments of the central government."
"•Central planning of agriculture was a prominent feature. In order to tie farmers to the land, the selling of agricultural land was prohibited."
"•In place of ordinary profit incentive to guide the economy, investment was guided through regulation to accord to the needs of the State."

How leftist differ.

The term “[s]National Socialism”[/s] (Marxist-Leninist) derives from this citizen-nation relationship, whereby the term [s]socialism[/s] (Marxist-Leninist) is invoked and is meant to be realized through the common duty of the individuals to the [s]German[/s] (Soviet) people; all actions are to be in service of the [s]Reich[/s] (Soviet State)

Mikem,

I apologize for not becoming engrossed with your Corporations/Media/WalMart work. From my point it did little to further the discussion.
Al Gore's creation of the internet gives me access to many sources of information.

To foreign investors, welcome. At the height of their financial power the Japanese found some attractive properties, business, bonds etc here in the US. Later, high profile properties were purchased back by US companies for various reasons.
Without exception financial conditions change... are you uneasy when we buy foreign businesses and/or properties?
A weak dollar means our exports are more attractive. Good with the bad, silver linings... whatever one wants to call it.

My sense of outrage over events connected with China, the world, and locally is less each day as I read the latest thing that each major party's front runners stumble over, or the latest item from some political aspirant for local office, the state legislature, the governor, or congress.

Recently, a series of pictures on the internet had a chinese lady, not struggling while awaiting execution and finishing with her lying on the ground with her forehead and the rear portion of her skull missing. Will we stop dealing with China... doubtful.

Dale, GDP and China
We should not be sending our factories for companies like Wal-Mart etc.. to support Communit China in the tunes of trillions of dollars. You as (I assume Republican if not sorry!) would be outraged with the fact that we are supporting Communist China while letting them impose their unfair trade policies on us because they protect their industries and we don't. Furthermore I thought you would be outraged about the fact that Communist China
is buying up our government and that we are indepted with them to protect their currency to screw our "dollar" so that they can keep making the goods for us to buy. I think as a concerned US citizen
you should be outraged about our government supporting Communist China in these ways. - Mikem

Dale, so your understanding of finance is that it only matters on how much you make and not how much you save after your expenses
and depts?
You can earn say $10,000 a month and go around claiming that you're the wealthy "guy" when you had say $9,900 dollars amounting in car payments, crdit card payments, college loan payments,
mortgage payments, loans you got from your friends, etc... Are you still that "wealthy guy" after all these depts? Are you truelly wealthy if you are deptted to all these loan and credit institutions?
Ignoring foreign depts and letting foreign corporations buy up your country is not leading us to be a "financially" independant and free nation. I thought you would be for "fiscal conservatism" and being "financially independant"? Would you want the US government making foreign policy decisions based on how it should benefit China, Japan etc... and the countries it is in dept with and not you (a tax paying US citizen). Don't you as a US citizen believe that the US should be financially independant from a communist dictatorship like China? - Mikem

Dale, HERE'S YOUR EXPLANTION ABOUT YOUR INTERPRETATION OF TRADITIONAL SOCIALISM AND HITLER'S DEFINITION OF SOCIALISM BUDDY!
Nationalism
Hitler founded the Nazi state upon a racially defined “German people” and principally rejected the idea of being bound by the limits of nationalism.[30] That was only a means for attempting unlimited supremacy. In that sense, its hyper-nationalism was tolerated to reach a world-dominating Germanic-Aryan Volksgemeinschaft. This idea is a central concept of Mein Kampf, symbolized by the motto Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer (one people, one empire, one leader). The Nazi relationship between the Volk and the state was called the Volksgemeinschaft (people’s community), a late nineteenth or early twentieth century neologism that defined a communal duty of citizens in service to the Reich (as opposed to a simple society). The term “National Socialism” derives from this citizen-nation relationship, whereby the term socialism is invoked and is meant to be realized through the common duty of the individuals to the German people; all actions are to be in service of the Reich. The Nazis stated that their goal was to bring forth a nation-state as the locus and embodiment of the people’s collective will, bound by the Volksgemeinschaft, as both an ideal and an operating instrument. In comparison, traditional socialist ideologies oppose the idea of nations

Dale,

On Hitler

I think I posted the piece that: Hitler was a gifted orator who captivated many with his beating of the lectern and growling, emotional speech. He honed his skills by giving speeches to soldiers during 1919 and 1920. He became adept at telling people what they wanted to hear (the stab-in-the-back, the Jewish-Marxist plot to conquer the world, and the betrayal of Germany in the Versailles treaty) and identifying a scapegoat for their plight. Over time Hitler perfected his delivery by rehearsing in front of mirrors and carefully choreographing his display of emotions. He was coached by a self-styled clairvoyant who focused on hand and arm gestures. Munitions minister and architect Albert Speer, who may have known Hitler as well as anyone, said that Hitler was above all else an actor.[245][246

So 1) You're going to believe everything he says
    2) With this kind of logic that means that if Hitler was a socialist because he claimed to care about the people, that Fidel Castro is a "philanthropist" because he claims to care about people. This is kind of ridiculous. The government in China claims itself to be a "democratic" government when it is a "communist"
goverment.
   3) It clearly stated that:The Nazis executed or assassinated many of their opponents, restructured the state economy, rearmed the armed forces (Wehrmacht) and established a totalitarian and fascist dictatorship (Wikipedia)

Dale, John Mccain continued.....
While McCain has agreed to accept an $84.1 million public funding grant and identical spending limit for the general election, his joint fundraising committees can raise an unlimited amount on his behalf. Obama has declined to participate in public financing for the general election, though he says he favors reforming the presidential finance system for future elections.

“The staggering amount of cash raised through these joint fundraising committees underscores the need to close this loophole and pass legislation to improve the public funding system for presidential campaigns,” said David Arkush, director of Public Citizen’s Congress Watch division. “Presidential candidates should not use joint fundraising committees to exceed the limits on contributions to their campaigns, but it’s particularly egregious that candidates participating in the public financing system can do so.”

Dale, I don't know whether or not you read my comments about corporations having a control over politics and society but this is one example.
John Mccain and Barack Obama are equally guilty for playing this
game while talking about "campaign finance reform". There is no way to fudge the numbers and make it seem that one candidate is the "lesser evil" because they accepted less money. They are both EQUALLY guilty for playing the same game and the point of all this that "our" issues and concerns are being overshadowed by "corporate" issues and concerns because they offer more money than us.
You mean to tell me Dale that you are going to change a law to benefit "poor old Joe" who gives you a $50.00 check over "Joe Inc"
who offers you a $500,000 check with free dinners, tickets to games and limos? This is what I am talking about. There is no
lesser "evil" in this regard. Elections are meant for the common citizen and not for corporations. - Mikem

‘Mega-donors’ Pump Millions Into McCain’s Presidential Campaign, Public Citizen Analysis Shows

Candidates Taking Advantage of Loophole in Campaign Finance Laws

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Public Citizen today posted the names of individuals contributing $25,000 or more to Sen. John McCain’s joint fundraising committees on its WhiteHouseForSale.org Web site, which tracks the candidates’ reliance on big contributors and big donors. Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings released Tuesday night show that McCain has raised more than $62 million through these joint committees, which are able to accept donations well in excess of normal campaign contribution limits

Hey Dale you might like this too!

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings released Tuesday night show that McCain has raised more than $62 million through these joint committees, which are able to accept donations well in excess of normal campaign contribution limits.

The FEC filings show that more than 1,000 mega-donors gave McCain’s joint committees at least $25,000, accounting for more than $36 million, or more than half the amount raised. The top 100 mega-donors each gave an average of nearly $69,000, contributing nearly $6.9 million combined. Individuals are limited to giving $2,300 to McCain’s official campaign committee.

At least two joint fundraising committees have been established to aid Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The reports of those committees, which are using a different schedule, are due next week.

Thought you would enjoy this...

"An analysis of federal records shows that the amount of money journalists contributed so far this election cycle favors Democrats by a 15:1 ratio over Republicans, with $225,563 going to Democrats, only $16,298 to Republicans .
Two-hundred thirty-five journalists donated to Democrats, just 20 gave to Republicans — a margin greater than 10-to-1. An even greater disparity, 20-to-1, exists between the number of journalists who donated to Barack Obama and John McCain.

Searches for other newsroom categories (reporters, correspondents, news editors, anchors, newspaper editors and publishers) produces 311 donors to Democrats to 30 donors to Republicans, a ratio of just over 10-to-1. In terms of money, $279,266 went to Dems, $20,709 to Republicans, a 14-to-1 ratio.

The contributions add up to $315,533 to Democrats and $22,656 to Republicans — most of that to Ron Paul, who was supported by many liberals as a stalking horse to John McCain, a la Rush Limbaugh's Operation Chaos with Hillary and Obama.

What is truly remarkable about the list is that, discounting contributions to Paul and Rudy Giuliani, who was a favorite son for many folks in the media, the totals look like this: $315,533 to Democrats, $3,150 to Republicans (four individuals who donated to McCain).

a ratio of 100-to-1."

Adolf Hitler and Socialim continued....

(If he was such a Marxist he would have declared it and not bann the Marxist parties and join ties with Joe Stalin in USSR to conquer the Americans and Europeans
That is nice though we were discussing Hitler stating he was a Socialist, not a Marxist.

Hitler: SPEECH DELIVERED IN THE GERMAN REICHSTAG ON JANUARY 30TH 1937

"The main plank in the National Socialist program is to abolish the liberalistic concept of the individual and the Marxist concept of humanity and to substitute therefore the folk community, rooted in the soil and bound together by the bond of its common blood."

"In this country that principle will have its political counterpart. Is there a nobler or more excellent kind of Socialism and is there a truer form of Democracy than this National Socialism which is so organized that through it each one among the millions of German boys is given the possibility of finding his way to the highest office in the nation, should it please Providence to come to his aid.

And that is no theory. In the present National Socialist Germany it is a reality that is considered by us all as a matter of course. I myself, to whom the people have given their trust and who have been called to be their leader, come from the people. All the millions of German workers know that it is not a foreign dilettante or an international revolutionary apostle who is at the head of the Reich, but a German who has come from their own ranks.

And numerous people whose families belong to the peasantry and working classes are now filling prominent positions in this National Socialist State. Some of them actually hold the highest offices in the leadership of the nation, as Cabinet Ministers, Reichsstatthalter and Gauleiter. But National Socialism always bears in mind the interests of the people as a whole and not the interests of one class or another."
