Joan was/is a true advocate for the students of the district. She did her best as a school board member. I have seen her take a stand when others wouldn't. She didn't always do or say what was popular, but went with her heart and what she felt was best for the students. To me, that will leave the door open for other candidates that I wouldn't want but I think that's what Hobbs is looking at. Funny guy, that Hobbs. How convenient to suggest taking Abercrombie away from a council race giving Maciel and Hite better odds of being elected.
