The money from the lottery is going to the schools. Gov. Dukemagin (sorry about the spelling) took away from the schools the same amount of money the lottery is putting into the schools. This is still going on today! I voted for the lottery. I was told the money was going to be in addition to what the state was putting in. They lied! - Robgt

Another Bond? Well let's see here, people are losing there homes, barely hanging on to there jobs,, but hey, they approved the last bond so why not try these stupid Tracy residents again. I have to manage my budget at home, so the School District has to do the same thing. Here is what the School Districts do to us the residents. They spend money on what they want to spend money on, and when they need more money, they come to the parents. It's always, we need money for this or money for that, how about managing the district money better, and you would have money for the things you need. Well, but then again, if the residents are stupid enough to pass the previous bond, let's go after them again. In fact, I bet my wife that if the last bond passed, I told her they would try us taxpayers again. Let's not be stupid a second time, let's demand the district find ways like we do at home to better manage money. There spending our money and they need to be held accountable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough is Enough!!!! - Frank Edelstein

rawr writes: "I find it sad that Joe hates children so much, and that he would rather have teenagers turn to drugs, crime, murder, and counterfieting"

I did not read, in Joe's response, any mention of the above crimes. What are you people reading into these responses?

I will not vote for another bond so soon. Our governor said he wants to put a measure on the ballot to borrow money from the CA State Lottery to help balance the State's deficit. If there's money in the Lottery coffers earmarked for education why can't it be used to repair California schools? Maybe our governor hasn't thought about that yet. What's that money for? Why does the Lottery have such a large savings account? I'm mystified. - B-dub

There is no way I will vote for another bond measure so soon. The economy is struggling, many poeple I know are doing all they have just to pay the bills, no new taxes - not for some time. - webster

We will vote yes on a school bond that repairs Tracy schools. Joe, if you don't like the kids vote for the bond and it will increase your property value.... something most people like. - Concernedprents

:P All of the stipulations of Measure E were met, or are in the process of being met. I find it sad that Joe hates children so much, and that he would rather have teenagers turn to drugs, crime, murder, and counterfieting, than help give our schools what is needed to meet the educational needs of our kids. The schools are underfunded, and I have to in part blame Joe and his ever growing organization. If you are out there and thinking of joining a club, please don't join Joe's club. Think of the kids, (by kids I mean children to young adults, not goats). - Rawr!

history lesson...Larick wanted TracyLearningCenter at the site now known as Kimble because it would be across the street from Corp. Business Offices (they haven't been built yet). TUSD liked the idea so much, TLC ended up at the Clover Site and tada! Kimble High. Of course because of inertia TUSD never backed down like the Business Park Developer. - sleepy

OlSkooler needs to wake-up. Mountain House does not want the school to open in Trcy, they want a High school in their community. Also, as a resident of Redbridge, I can honestly say that all the people I know in Redbridge have no opinion as to where the new high school would be built. In fact, I am concerned about the amount of traffic a new high school is going to bring on Lammers. So yes, although $$$$$ usually talks, in this case OlSkooler needs to walk. - Redbridger

Mountain House may say they want it but then why did they just take a vote to allow them to become their own district and build their own high school. Wake up Tracy.. Mountain House is a seperate town. Do what's right for Tracy and let Mountain House build up on their own. Sure would solve your line drawing problem. - CATPReader2

If they are going to build a new HS why dont the build it in the most Southern part of the city? I'll tell you why-Because Redbridge and Mountian House want it where it is proposed. Wake up and smell the coffee, $$$$$ Talks, and BS walks......... - OlSkooler
