Some of these signs block your view of cross-traffic. Some of the signs have been there for weeks but still the city neglects to take them down. Heaven forbid you get into an accident because you cannot see around those signs but you can always sue the city for not having taken them down. I saw a parks guy mowing the lawn and there was an old sign right on the city right-away on a stop sign about 15 feet from him. It occurred to me he could have taken down that sign, even if it was only one sign. That particular corner is one of the sign capitals of Tracy. If it isn't Heritage its another furniture store. Some of those A-Frame sign are 3 and 4 feet high. Come on now! What makes those businesses think they are more special to get free advertising? It is against city ordinances to have those signs there and it makes Tracy look trashy. Talk about ugly, what about the abandon grocery carts. Who's responsible for keeping them off the sidewalks and streets when people steal them to take their food home in. I saw three purple ones today. One more thing. Those of you that start having your garage sales and put 15 or 20 signs all over the place, I hope you have the decency to get them off all the poles that you put them on.
