Supported by local law enforcement, parents and teens will be permitted to utilize the pit and track areas for driver’s training in their personal vehicle. Driver must be accompanied by an adult. Drivers must be between the ages of 14 & 18 (proof of age required; no driving permit required).

20th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs Of Tracy Gala, Auction And Comedy Show (5:30PM)
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy will host the 20th Annual Gala at the Grand Theatre on March 8.

Diane Larsen, auction chairwoman, notes that this will be an evening of comedy, with three wonderfully funny comedians lined up as the evening’s entertainment.

Master of Ceremonies is Mark Pitta, along with Clinton Jackson and Arthur Gaus. Mark Pitta was featured on “Mornings on 2.” Clinton Jackson has appeared on the Disney Channel and will have his own special on Comedy Central. Arthur Gaus is touring on the San Francisco comedy club circuit.

Tickets are $135 and will include hosted cocktails and light dinner fare during the silent auction. That will be followed by a live auction and comedy show and then coffee and dessert. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy.

San Joaquin Film Festival Preview (6:00PM)
@ Bechtel International Center at University of the Pacific (Stockton).

This engaging event will be held to share the latest developments of the festival, to announce the official selection of films and to announce two global-cinema programs featuring Israeli and Latino cinemas. More than 40 films from several nations, will make up the diverse and dynamic selection of films to be presented at this inaugural festival in June. Attendants will have the opportunity to interact in a Q&A session with the festival organizers.
