i am not even in my adulthood and yet i understand what you mean about the vulgar language. i am sorry if i have ever offended anyone with my language (if any word was unappropriate). i would just like to say that we, real graffiti artists, have no intention of causing any harm to anyone. we basically do it as artists that want to be well-known for our expressive pieces. the other reason why we paint on railcars is because we do not like the fact that our piece can only stay in one city and we want everyone to acknowledge how much hard work, skill, precision, and speed we have to accomplish to get up on a railcar. now that we are more educated and cautious of what we write over, our pieces can probably last a little longer than they have been in the past.
If you want it to last longer, consider getting permission from the owner of the property you're tagging. If you want it to last longer, consider putting it on something that can go in a museum.
Michaelangelo painted on the Cistene Chapel because they wanted him to leave the image of God reaching to touch man's mortal hand. Leonardo Da Vinci painted on a wall, because he was commissioned to do so. These pieces of art have been repaired over time to keep them.
The point is, as a writer, tagger, etc. If you want to have your work seen, do it on a place that has a purpose for your art. Otherwise it's like animals marking their territory.
And regarding the vulgar language, keep it on the street and off of the boards. When you're publishing to a wider audience, vs. the kids on the street, you'll turn more ears off of what you're saying, vs. making a point -- which is your intention.

Post edited by:
