It was great to watch the Warriors storm into the NBA playoffs with a playoff-clinching win last night. Thirteen years is a long time. No doubt the dumping of Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy and the acquisition of Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson were huge. A healthy Baron Davis and Jason Richardson added fuel to the playoff fire. I am of the opinion that both Davis and J-Rich are highly overrated and would love to see D Nelson and brain power look to move them during the off season as with this playoff birth,their market values will probably be at the very best they can be.
None the less, I hope the Warriors show them selves well against Dallas and make it fun for the long-suffering fans

I'm a "cautious" Kings fan, but somehow I don't have any problem giving out this entertainment.

1) The Kings insulted D Nelson when they hired a coach without even talking to him. Nelson wanted an interview with the Kings.

I thought it was so good that Nelson returned to Arco Arena as the Warriors coach and beat the Kings. Just for the insult, I think the Kings deserved it.

2) Last year I was a Kings season ticket holder. The most agonizing game was against the Warriors. Out of an arena population of about 17,000 seats, Kings fans must have sold 3,500 of them to Warriors fans.

The mascot "Slamson" was throwing 99-cent Kings T-shirts with Wells Fargo advertisements on them, into the crowd. Clearly anybody could see that he was throwing a T-shirt into yellow jersey Warriors fans.

That T-shirt came back, and it landed on the emblem in the center court.

Ugh.
